This Privacy Policy explains how Varenyam Tech (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles personal data when you visit varenyamtech.in or contact us through this website. We are based in India and work with clients and engineers globally.

Information we collect

We only collect what we need, and most of it you give us directly:

• Hiring enquiries (clients). When you submit a request through the Tech Talent Hub, we collect details such as your name, company, work email, phone number, location, the role and skills you are hiring for, work mode, hiring type, budget, timeline, and any notes you add.
• Talent profiles (engineers). When you join the talent pool, we collect details such as your name, email, phone number, LinkedIn profile, qualifications, year of graduation, current or recent company, experience, skills, notice period, and availability.
• General enquiries. If you email or message us, we receive the contact details and content you choose to share.
• Usage and device data. With your consent, our analytics provider collects standard information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you navigate the site. This is used in aggregate to understand and improve the site.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and set up access to our services.
• To match engineers in the talent pool with suitable roles.
• To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website.
• To comply with legal obligations and protect against misuse or fraud.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your form submissions to send unrelated marketing.

Legal bases

Where data-protection laws such as the EU/UK GDPR apply, we rely on: your consent (for analytics cookies and for being added to the talent pool); our legitimate interests in operating and improving the site and responding to business enquiries; and taking steps at your request before entering into an engagement. Where India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act applies, we process personal data for the lawful purposes described here, with consent where required.

Cookies and analytics

We use two kinds of cookies:

• Essential — needed for the site to function and to remember your cookie choice. These are always on.
• Analytics — set only after you click “Accept” on our cookie banner. We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation enabled. If you reject, no analytics cookies are set and the analytics scripts are not loaded.

You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link, available here and in the footer of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Who we share data with

We share data only with service providers that help us run the site and our services, and only as needed:

• Google — form submissions are processed via Google Forms, and analytics via Google Analytics (when consented).
• Supabase — where enabled, used as our database to store enquiries and talent profiles.
• Hostinger — our web hosting provider.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information where required by law.

International transfers

We operate from India and use service providers that may store or process data in other countries. Where required, we take steps so that transfers have an appropriate legal basis and safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above — for example, to handle your enquiry, to keep you in the talent pool while you wish to remain, and to meet legal or record-keeping requirements — after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to request a copy of your data. EU/UK residents may also lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption for all traffic to this site and restricted access to submitted data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our practices over time.

Children

This website and our services are intended for businesses and working professionals, and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above, and significant changes will be reflected on this page.
